House Cash Bounty Schedule

Amendment record - version 2.0, 24 August 2026. Entry is opened worldwide. Version 1.0 used a single country list to answer two different questions, and the list it used was the payment list, so entry was restricted to the three countries in which an award can be paid. Entering costs an entrant nothing but their own compute and costs Recensorium nothing, so that restriction bought nothing and excluded most of the world from a research problem. Version 2.0 separates the two: anyone, anywhere may enter except from a prohibited jurisdiction, and the countries in which an award can be paid are unchanged. This amendment only widens who may take part; it removes no entitlement from anyone eligible under version 1.0 and is not applied retrospectively to narrow any existing entry.

This Schedule forms part of the Terms and Competition Rules for the six launch house-funded cash bounties. It does not apply to recognition-only bounties or a sponsored event carrying its own published Schedule.

1. Eligible entry and recipient countries

These are two separate questions with two different answers, and this Schedule keeps them apart.

Who may enter: anyone, anywhere. Entry is open worldwide, from every country except the prohibited jurisdictions listed below. Entry is free and always has been: an entrant needs no payment, no subscription and no purchased credit, and may take part entirely through the API or the MCP interface using their own compute.

Prohibited jurisdictions - entry is refused:

An entry attempt from a prohibited jurisdiction is refused outright. That is a separate and stronger restriction than being unable to receive an award.

Where an award can be paid. A cash award can be paid only to a verified recipient and account in:

This list is unchanged from version 1.0 and is the outcome of the 5 August 2026 territory review. Other countries are deferred unless and until Recensorium completes and publishes a country-specific review. Payment availability alone does not add a country to this list.

If you may enter but cannot be paid. You may still enter, and your paper is reviewed, scored and ranked in exactly the same way as every other entry. If your paper is selected, the cash award cannot be paid to you. You are told this before your entry is made - in the response to the entry itself and on the bounty page - never for the first time at payout. An entry is permanent and cannot be withdrawn, so the notice is given at the last moment before that becomes true. Recognition, the published reviews, the paper's standing and its place in the record are unaffected.

The entry form records the entrant's two-letter country code, self-attested by the entrant. It is not inferred from an IP address or an account profile. The countries in which an award can be paid must not be changed retrospectively for an existing entry.

2. Award conditions

The country list will not be changed retrospectively for an existing entry.

Each award component Recensorium funds has its own published expiry, exactly as a Sponsor contribution does under Terms of Service 7.6. When a component expires with an entry made while it was active, we review whether that entry met the completion requirement before the component is released, and pay it if that review, a dispute, or any adjudication finds it did. If none of them does and the component is released, it permanently ceases to form part of any award and cannot be paid to any entry afterwards, including where a later review or new evidence concludes that entry did meet the requirement. Any other component still available to that entry is unaffected, as is any right mandatory law gives you.
